Mahogany Dining Table

Mahogany veneer is the key to the dazzling pattern on this table. A sequenced stack of veneers was cut into eight triangular pieces, then meticulously stitched together in a reverse book match sequence, resulting in the kaleidoscopic effect. In a certain light, they appear as a series of acanthus leaves, reaching towards the center. Although it appears as a separate inlay pattern, the diamond shaped bloom in the middle is formed by the reflected light dancing off the deeply figured wood grain at the tips of the triangles as they converge at the center. One of my absolute favorites!

Walnut Dining Set

This set boasts an artistic flair as well as a comfortable feel. The pedestal table base affords more leg room while reverse diamond book matched top provides a beautiful display of quarter sawn walnut’s symmetry.
